Role:

 

This role is part of the data services work stream providing advisory services to the Program. The domain areas include Business Processes around Record to Report, Plan to Project and the platforms include PeopleSoft General Ledger, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management. The following are the activities performed by this role:

• Lead end-to-end analysis of key Finance metrics, financial statements, Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting reports, identify and document suppliers and consumers of data, source data attributes, data layouts and data flows.

• Work with cross functional teams to develop requirements traceability matrix, as-is data layouts, inventory of files, conceptual data model and support Logical data model design

• Design Master/Reference Data Logical and physical database implementation in the Data Acquisition Architecture

• Analyze Financial and reporting hierarchies for Product, Channel, Account, Legal Entity etc and provide insights into data issues and propose solution options

• Design Data standardization as defined by the Data Acquisition Architecture and MDM Governance Requirements.

Requirements for Role:

 

• Minimum 5 years working with PeopleSoft, HFM, HP or HPCM Applications supporting the Finance Record to Report and/or Plan to Project flow for Financial Services Industry clients preferably Insurance.

• Experience working as Data or Solution Architect for Financial implementations at Financial Services Industry clients

• Experience with On-Premise and Cloud solutions in any of the following areas:

• Planning and Budgeting

• Financial Consolidation and Close

• Performance Reporting

• Hyperion Planning

• Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management

• Hyperion Financial Management

• Oracle Fusion

• PeopleSoft

• Oracle E-Business Suite

• Financial Accounting Hub

• Microgen Accounting Hub

• Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications

• Knowledge of Insurance Ledger structure, chart of accounts design and implications on Legal, Management, Regulatory and Tax reporting

• Working knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications and Tools – PeopleSoft, Hyperion suite – HPCM, HFM, HP, DRM

• Experience Leading Full Life Cycle Financial Systems implementations

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, controls and Reconciliation frameworks and solutions 

• Experience working with Infrastructure teams in Capacity Planning, Performance Management is a plus
